Developer Weekend is a Hackathon with hands-on technical workshops to encourage enthusiastic beginners as well as pro-developers to take the challenge and get the experience of developing for platforms like Windows 8, Android or Web apps. We have mentors and judges to guide you at various points throughout the weekend! This event is open to all students in Singapore!

Workshops

There will be a series of short technical workshops going on side by side. These workshops are open to non-participants as well.

Hackathon

Participants will be given a list of challenges (something we face in real-life) to solve at the start of the event. Students are expected to choose one challenge and solve it using the platform they have chosen.
Sample challenge question: “Develop something that would help a freshmen in school”

Networking

The Developer Weekend presents a great opportunity to interact with industry experts and mentors. A whole new level of exposure to development while you hack away.
